Clients with over a million dollars to invest may choose a directly managed account, which, for regional accounts, is invested in a portfolio of about 15 to 20 of our intensively researched universe companies. This account is assigned to a dedicated Client Service Team, comprising a seasoned Client Advisor assisted by two Associate Portfolio Managers. The members of this Team serve as the principal contacts with the client and are always ready to answer questions about the management of the account.
Clients with directly managed accounts have access to their portfolio on a daily basis by our specially designed Client Log-In. This enables you to monitor your account and review your portfolio at your convenience.
Account Opening Procedures
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account/ subscribes. When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents. The first step to opening an Individually Managed Account is to Contact Us.
Clients are required to sign an investment management agreement giving us discretion over the management of the account. There are some other documents that need completion relating to regulatory and tax requirements. Funds are then wired to the selected custodian, who acts in regard to the account according to our instructions.
We report to you once a month with a statement of your portfolio.
