William P. Stewart (1,2,3,5) is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of W.P. Stewart & Co., Ltd. He started on Wall Street in 1955 on the trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange. He joined Spingarn, Heine & Co. in 1957 as an analyst/registered representative and, in 1961, moved to Pyne, Kendall & Hollister in the same capacity. He was successively Director of Research, General Partner responsible for the firm's investment advisory and institutional operations, President of its international investment banking subsidiary, Managing Partner and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Riter, Pyne, Kendall & Hollister, Inc. After the sale of Riter, Pyne's principal business in early 1973, Mr. Stewart joined Ruane, Cunniff & Co. as Vice Chairman, while simultaneously founding W.P. Stewart & Company as a corporate consultant. He established W.P. Stewart & Company as an investment advisory firm in 1975.
Robert Kahn (4) is an Analyst/Portfolio Manager. Mr. Kahn joined in founding the W.P. Stewart & Company 1975 and is a member of the US equity research and portfolio management team. Previously, he was a founding partner of Equity Research Associates, Inc., in 1963 where he served as Senior Research Associate for the next six years. While at Equity Research, he published a number of original reports on valuation techniques and investment opportunities outside the insurance field. He was also a Senior Vice President at Riter, Pyne, Kendall & Hollister, Inc. from 1969 to 1973 and worked for Ruane, Cunniff & Co., Inc. from 1973 to1975. He holds a B.A. degree from Oberlin College and an M.S. from Queens College.
Mark Phelps (4) is President and Managing Director - Global Investments of W.P. Stewart & Co., Ltd. He continues in his role as Analyst/Portfolio Manager at W.P. Stewart & Co. (Europe), Ltd., the company's London research and portfolio management subsidiary, which he joined in February 2005. Mr. Phelps is a British national with more than 20 years experience in European, U.S. and Global investment research and portfolio management. For over ten years he has held senior positions with the Dresdner Bank organization in both London and San Francisco. Most recently he served as a Chief Investment Officer for Global Equities at Dresdner RCM in San Francisco. Mr. Phelps has a BA (Hons.) in Economics from the University of York in England and completed graduate studies at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, England. From 1981 to 1984 Mr. Phelps was in the British Army and finished his service with the rank of Captain.

Stacey Brodbar is an Analyst of W.P. Stewart & Co., Inc. Prior to joining W.P. Stewart in 2007, Ms. Brodbar spent seven years as a sell-side equity analyst with Credit Suisse, most recently as a vice president on the restaurant team. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Stacey worked as an investment banking analyst at PaineWebber. Ms. Brodbar holds a B.A. from Duke University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
Samantha Epstein (1,2,4), CFA, is an Analyst/Portfolio Manager and a Senior Vice President of W.P. Stewart & Co., Inc. She is a member of the U.S. equity research and portfolio management team. Prior to joining W.P. Stewart in 1998, Ms. Epstein was employed with CREF Investments where she managed a global fund and five domestic sector neutral funds. She began her career at Fidelity Management and Research in 1991, as a junior analyst. In 1993, Ms. Epstein moved to Evergreen Asset Management. Ms. Epstein graduated magna cum laude from the Wharton School of Business with a concentration in International Economics. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and is a member of the CFA Institute. She has taught at the New York Institute of Finance and privately for other institutions, including courses in financial statement analysis and forensic accounting.
Jack Mahler (1,4), MD, CFA, is an Analyst/Portfolio Manager and Senior Vice President of W.P. Stewart & Co., Inc. Prior to joining W.P. Stewart in 2005, he held senior positions at Brown Brothers Harriman & Company, where he served as Director, Equity Research and most recently as Head of Equities. From 1997 to 2001, he was employed at Manning & Napier Advisors in Rochester, NY, where he served successively as Senior Equity Analyst, Portfolio Manager, and Co-Director of Equity Research. Dr. Mahler began his career in clinical research at Cornell University Medical College, where he spent five years on the full-time faculty. Dr. Mahler holds both B.A. and M.D. degrees from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
James T. Tierney, Jr. (1,4) is an Analyst/Portfolio Manager and Senior Vice President of W.P. Stewart & Co., Inc. He joined W.P. Stewart in 2000 as a member of the U.S. equity research and portfolio management team. Mr. Tierney began his career in the Equity Research Department at J.P. Morgan Investment Management in 1988. He analyzed companies in the entertainment, healthcare and finance industries. Mr. Tierney left J.P. Morgan in 1990 to attend business school and returned after completing his M.B.A in 1992 to become a Senior Analyst. As a Senior Analyst he followed a succession of industries, including energy, transportation, media and entertainment. Mr. Tierney holds a B.S. degree from Providence College and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
Europe
Dev Chakrabarti is an Analyst. He joined WP Stewart in October 2005 as a member of the European equity research and portfolio management team. Mr. Chakrabarti has six years financial experience, as an M&A Analyst at Merrill Lynch, a Financial Analyst with Unilever and most recently served as an Equity Analyst at JP Morgan Securities specializing in European telecom equipment stocks. Mr. Chakrabarti has a BSc. (Hons) in Economics from the University of Bristol in England
Christian Diebitsch is an Analyst. He joined W.P. Stewart in January 2004 as a member of the European equity research and portfolio management team. Mr. Diebitsch has thirteen years experience in European security analysis and most recently served as a Senior Analyst at BNP Paribas and Paribas specializing in European business services and financial exchanges. Mr. Diebitsch has a Master of Science of Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics and a Spanish Degree from the University of Stockholm.
